Mr. Ravinder Kumar is a regulatory and financial litigation practitioner with specialised expertise in Securities & Capital Market Laws, Banking & Financial Regulatory Enforcement, White-Collar Crime and Corporate Investigations. A graduate of Gujarat National Law University (2015 Batch), he brings a unique combination of regulatory insight and litigation experience, having previously worked with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), as Assistant General Manager, where he gained extensive exposure in securities regulation, enforcement mechanisms, compliance frameworks and capital market governance, while working in various Departments dealing with Enforcement, Recovery, Investigation, Litigation Department and Quasi-Judicial Departments.

As part of the Firm’s Regulatory and White-collar practice, Mr. Kumar is involved in matters involving SEBI Laws involving issues dealing with insider trading, market manipulation allegations, corporate governance and disclosure violations, financial fraud investigations, FEMA proceedings and white-collar crime matters. He has been involved in several significant regulatory and enforcement matters concerning listed entities, market intermediaries, promoters, directors, investors and financial institutions.

Mr. Kumar has assisted in proceedings before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, SAT, NCLT and other regulatory forums involving intricate issues. He is particularly recognised for his strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, analytical approach, precision in legal drafting and ability to navigate complex financial and investigative matters. He also advises clients on compliance, governance and risk mitigation strategies under India’s evolving securities and financial regulatory regime, playing a key role in the Firm’s Securities, Financial Regulatory and White-Collar Litigation practice. He is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
